A premium Tennessee incentive trip

We delivered The Home of Jack – a hosted incentive experience in Tennessee designed to reconnect key UK customers with the origins of Jack Daniel’s. The group stayed in Nashville, with the distillery visit as the centrepiece, supported by a relaxed itinerary that balanced curated moments and free time.

The trip helped strengthen relationships with high-value customers while giving them a first-hand brand story they could take back into their venues.

Approach

Bringing customers to where the brand began

The purpose of The Home of Jack was clear from the start: take a small group of high‑profile UK customers back to the place where the Jack Daniel’s story began, and give them the time and space to experience it properly. This wasn’t about content-heavy sessions or formal presentations. It was about presence, place, and connection – both with the brand and with each other.

The trip itself was something the client had run historically, but not for several years.

When they returned to it, they came to us with a clear intent and a defined group of customers, and we worked collaboratively to shape the brand experience for the audience. We helped to give the trip a simple, clear identity – The Home of Jack – to tie the journey together without adding unnecessary layers of branding or production. The focus stayed firmly on authenticity and ease.

Planning-wise, we took responsibility for guest registration, communications, and end-to-end delivery, ensuring every attendee knew exactly what to expect. We managed flights from the UK, accommodation in central Nashville, transfers, and on-the-ground scheduling, all while keeping movement around the city to a minimum so the trip never felt rushed or over-managed. The Jack Daniel’s distillery visit sat at the heart of the itinerary, supported by carefully chosen activities and dining that reflected both the destination and the audience.

I thought the whole trip was brilliantly organised from start to finish – I loved all the little touches. We had a very well thought out itinerary that felt balanced, and there was a good mix of activities, downtime and things to see.

Experience

Intentionally relaxed and premium

From a guest perspective, the experience was designed to feel easy from the moment they accepted the invite. We handled all pre‑travel communications, including a detailed invitation with a clear attachment outlining the trip, followed by registration capture and confirmation comms. Two weeks before departure, we sent a printed travel pack to each guest – including a personalised luggage tag, printed itinerary, and a small cocktail kit accompanied by a travel letter – creating a tangible sense of anticipation ahead of the journey.

Once in Tennessee, the tone stayed deliberately relaxed. We based the group centrally in Nashville to reduce travel time and allow guests to explore naturally together.

Alongside hosted meals and organised transfers, we built in meaningful free time so the group could experience the city as a collective, particularly along Broadway, which resonated strongly with an audience rooted in the bar and hospitality industry. Live music, varied venues, and the energy of the street became part of the experience without needing to be programmed.

The distillery visit was the clear focal point. For many attendees, including long‑standing client stakeholders, it was the first time they had seen the Jack Daniel’s distillery in person. Set outside Nashville, the working distillery delivered a powerful sense of place and history, grounding everything guests already knew about the brand in a real, physical environment. Additional special moments, including visits to the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Ryman Auditorium, added texture to the itinerary without overwhelming it. Throughout, our onsite team stayed close to the group, managing logistics quietly in the background so the experience could unfold naturally.

Results

A shared brand story guests could take home with them

The Home of Jack delivered value by doing exactly what it set out to do: deepen relationships with key customers and strengthen their emotional connection to the brand. The distillery visit stood out as the defining moment of the trip, with guests describing it as a genuine highlight.

Beyond the distillery, the destination itself played a huge role in the trip’s success. Nashville’s bar scene, live music culture, and walkable energy naturally inspired the group, with post‑trip feedback highlighting how the experience sparked ideas they wanted to take back into their own venues.

From our perspective, the success came from restraint as much as execution. By keeping the experience human, well‑paced, and rooted in place, we delivered a trip that felt special without ever feeling forced, exactly what a high‑value incentive should be.
