UK Salesforce Team Building
Overview:
This event was designed to get the team together, and reacquainted again, after two years of online meetings due to the pandemic.
This was a full-service event. We delivered everything, including the theming from start to finish, venue-find, site visits, registration, entertainment, all of the evening elements, food and beverage, and full on-site management.
The Concept:
This team-building event was very important to the client as it was the team’s first reunion in two years, and they didn’t want it to be too business-focused. The emphasis was on getting the team together; it was all about having a fun day, a good time together and essentially reconnecting.
We wanted to do something completely different for our client this year, and embrace the none-business focus, casual and fun element fully. Thus, instead of having the typical conference room and private dining event, we decided to organise a conference/business update in the morning, followed by a fun afternoon of team building and a barbecue in a Tipi for the evening entertainment.
The Experience:
The event was divided into two phases; there was a conference in the morning, a 2-hour business update, followed by an afternoon of team-building activities. The whole day was a ‘secret day out’, it was all a surprise for the attendees.
In the afternoon, the group was split into 8 teams of 8 people who competed in fun and competitive team-building games. For the evening entertainment, we organised a barbecue in a Tipi which included a band, a caricaturist, mind-readers, and more! It was all about working in small groups, networking, and having fun. We were able to facilitate all the team-building activities, as well as the evening entertainment.
We provided full service, production, and event management services, as well sourcing fun activities. We made the event extra special for our client.
Results:
The team-building event was a great success for Wavin. The internal feedback received was beyond positive – the staff absolutely loved it. The client loved working with us and have already come back to us with more events they would like us to work on with them this year.
