Hirebase Conference 2021
Overview:
Every year, Hirebase host a live event that allows all Hire Managers to congregate and share information. Key suppliers are also invited to attend.
Suppliers use the event as an opportunity to showcase new products and give company updates to the whole Hirebase team and also build relationships.
Hirebase give their managers clear direction and updates for the year ahead – including H&S, financial and IT updates.
We helped Hirebase create and deliver their first virtual conference. The platform hosted supplier sessions and allowed for different views for different users.
The new era of events
Timeframe
We had a 10-week turnaround in which we outlined the objectives and built a virtual proposition perfectly suited to meet these.
Journey
The concept of a virtual conference was totally new to the Hire Managers– and also to their suppliers.
We needed to go through vigorous testing prior to the event with as many people as possible. While this was a logistical challenge in the run-up to the event, it mean the attendees had a seamless experience on the live day.
The experience
We created a Main Stage to host all of the Hirebase presentations – this was viewable by all Hire Managers and invited Buildbase guests.
A supplier Main Stage was configured so that Hirebase could watch their own presentations but not the presentations for Hire Managers.
The centre-point of the conference was an exhibition hall with all the suppliers – where attendees were able to click on each supplier’s stand to view information, watch videos, download product information and enter competitions.
The Group Appointments function gave every Hire Manager a 10-15- minute appointment with every supplier. In this appointment they could see each other and engage in conversation. Suppliers could also share presentations.
A live Q&A and an awards ceremony were also held on the day.
