PPG Golf Masters
The brief:
We have proudly hosted the annual PPG Golf Masters since 2009, a prestigious event featuring 8 regional tournaments and an overseas final throughout the season. Each regional event brings together 72 golfers, creating opportunities for like-minded individuals to network, forge connections, and strengthen relationships. The primary goal is to unite participants, while offering PPG a platform to reward and engage with their most valued customers
Approach
Year on year, we have elevated the PPG Golf Masters into an unforgettable, first-class experience by delivering exceptional, premium touches. The client’s primary objective was to ensure guests felt valued, recognised, and rewarded, as well as fostering long-term relationships and continued loyalty. To achieve this, we forged an exclusive experience, incorporating many PPG branded touchpoints, that would be remembered by attendees in the years to follow, and would encourage them to return in the future.
Experience
This golf series brilliantly demonstrates our ability to elevate an attendee experience with personalised, branded elements. Guests could enjoy golf jumpers, shirts, premium golf balls, tees, and team prizes, along with special gifts upon arrival. To prepare them for the overseas final, participants also received fully branded luggage tags, itineraries, menus, and travel cards, along with other bespoke items. The incorporation of branded gifts and creative materials was a fantastic way to immerse attendees in the event identity throughout their experience.
We also brought some creative flair to the courses themselves, elevating the holes with custom signage, toblerones, and boards.
When it comes to event management, we handled all guest communication through a dedicated event inbox and the ‘Golf Genius’ app, ensuring a seamless delegate experience. Every detail is meticulously crafted by our team, going above and beyond to create an unforgettable event.
Results
The PPG Golf Masters has been the leading golf series in the paint industry for 15 years. Since 2009, we’ve hosted over 150 golf days, including 15 overseas finals, engaging with more than 8,500 PPG Architectural Coatings customers. The feedback is consistently outstanding, with high praise for the location, quality of course, atmosphere, helpful staff and flawless organisation throughout – to quote a customer, it is ‘one of the best events they’ve ever had the pleasure of attending’.
