A new client of ours, Merchant’s Heart asked us to create, manage and deliver a brand activation experience to raise awareness of their brand to the general public. It also had to provide an opportunity to help them form relationships with gin distilleries.
We had 9 working days to go from concept to creation and delivery. To achieve our client’s goals, we knew we needed to showcase their unique selling points. We took inspiration from the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine and created a tunnel of bubble tubes to highlight the carbonation process. We represented the beauty of their famous Hibiscus spirit enhancer with pink bubbles throughout.
The bubble tunnel led to a room where we created a masterclass style environment for our client to educate their audience on why the spirit enhancer is such an important step in creating the perfect gin and tonic. The setup included multiple miniature bars where individuals could take part in the classes.

The setup provided the perfect environment to both spike the audience’s curiosity and encourage them into the masterclass room. It also presented an excellent opportunity to capture impressive, shareable social media photos.
Our client received 100% attendance to their masterclass sessions and a huge boost in social media traffic and engagement. The whole experience met our client’s objective of providing a new take on celebrating their Japanese heritage.
