The client’s main goal for this exhibition was to create a platform for retailers to explore new products, network, and access exclusive deals. Some specific objectives of the event were to:

The approach
To meet the client’s objectives, the team followed a structured and collaborative approach.
We established critical milestones and held regular client meetings to align on progress and plans. We also strategically integrated the deals portal into the event to ensure ease of use across all different customer types.
Creative ideas for the budget-conscious after-party were proposed, utilising resourceful planning to maximise its impact.
The experience
The event day unfolded smoothly and delivered a positive experience for all of the attendees.
Retailers were greeted by a friendly and well-prepared team, supported by clear branding and signage to guide them through the venue. The team’s meticulous planning ensured seamless execution, reinforcing clearly-defined roles and responsibilities during a pre-event briefing. A highlight of the day was the immersive after-party. Despite the tight budget, the creative execution left a lasting impression.
Internal collaboration was strong, marked by regular check-ins and a pre-event walkthrough with the client. A dedicated liaison provided a single point of contact for the client, ensuring prompt responses to any issues or queries.
The results
The event achieved several key goals for the client. High supplier engagement contributed to doubling revenue from deals compared to the previous year, and positive feedback from suppliers and attendees underscored the event’s success.
The exclusive nature of the venue and its efficient layout received praise, making it a strong candidate for future events.
The client was very pleased with the event’s outcomes and is exploring opportunities to use the new venue again in 2024..
