Overview:
Our client sought to enhance their annual national conference, we aimed to create an event that promoted togetherness, collaboration, and meaningful connections. The goal was to craft an experience that built on the previous year’s success, offering fresh opportunities for learning and networking.
The approach
From the early planning stages, we focused on designing an event that felt welcoming, encouraged connection, as well as effectively showcasing provider exhibitors.
We developed a visually appealing creative identity for the conference, naming it ‘Chapter 2’ to reflect its evolution from a previous event, ‘The Next Chapter’. The branding seamlessly integrated elements from 2plan and Openwork, creating a cohesive and visually appealing identity.
The experience
The conference was held at Telford International Centre, a venue well-equipped to accommodate large-scale gatherings with ample space for branding and networking. Attendees were welcomed by the XSEM team at registration before experiencing main plenary sessions, exploring the provider exhibition area, and participating in various networking opportunities. Later in the day was the awards ceremony, providing a platform to celebrate industry achievements.
The day's content was signposted on the custom built event app, which allowed for seamless Q&A functionality, image sharing, and hosted a selection of other useful resources.
The evening featured casual dining and entertainment, allowing delegates to continue conversations and strengthen connections in an informal setting.
The results
From planning to execution, we ensured every detail was managed efficiently. Logistics, branding, AV production, and overall attendee experience were carefully coordinated, allowing delegates to fully immerse themselves within the event.
The result was a conference that strengthened relationships and set a high standard for future events. Chapter 2 demonstrated the power of thoughtful planning and execution, reinforcing its value as a key industry gathering.
