CHILL FACTORE

XSEM is proud to present an activity day that will combine great fun, a charming hotel and a fine dining Michelin starred experience. It is complete with VIP transfers and gym/spa options for the less active members. This is the perfect event in October that the weather can't spoil.

Guests will arrive mid morning where their bags will be taken from them for pre check in and morning coffees. Luxury 32 seat coaches will be on hand to transport guests from the hotel to the Chill Factore where guests will enjoy a full day of winter's fun. Guests wishing not to take part in the snow activities are free to enjoy a day pass to the Old Hall Country Club.

When at the Chill Factore guests will be fitted for ski's and outdoor clothing before being split into groups for activities. Guests will have the option of 3 activities which include free skiing / snow boarding, tubing and the luge. Other activities available on request are the snow climbing wall and ski lessons.

THE CHESTER GROSVENOR

Dating back to 1865, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa is owned by and named after the family of the Duke of Westminster. Located in the heart of the historic city of Chester, The Chester Grosvenor and Spa is one of the finest hotels in the north-west of England and one of a handful of hotels outside London to be awarded five AA Red Stars.

The Chester Grosvenor is a Grade II listed building, with its black and white timbered façade, belies the modern elegance of the hotel interior. The hotel has 66 individually designed bedrooms and 14 stylish suites, all separately designed and beautifully furnished with the finest fabrics.

THE ARKLE RESTAURANT

The Arkle is a gourmet restaurant and has retained its much coveted Michelin star for 18 consecutive years. The exceptional menu changes seasonally, and the emphasis is on using the very best, fresh local produce in imaginative and innovative ways.

The Arkle's wine cellar is one of the most extensive in England with over 1000 bins from all over the world. With such a wide selection available, the resident Sommelier is on hand to assist with friendly advice and recommendations.

CHILL FACTORE

Chill Factore is the UK's longest and the world's widest real snow indoor ski slope (main slope 180 metres long and a total of 100 metres wide at the bottom), with the finest snow, all year round.

Just like your favorite resort, there are separate but inter-connected activity areas. At 100 metres wide, there's plenty of room for everyone, so competitions could be taking place on one side of the slope whilst still leaving plenty of room for recreational skiers. In addition to the main run there are two beginners' areas, a luge track and a snowplay area.

THE LUGE

5, 4, 3, 2, 1 you're off!

On The Luge you'll experience the rush of speed normally only experienced on a real luge track. And what a buzz it is!

Specially designed mats are provided for you to hurtle down The Luge feet first for a real rush of excitement. One thing's for sure you'll be lining up again and again for the travellator to take you back to the top.

The Luge is a great reason to visit Chill Factore plus its a real short, sharp rush of adrenalin during a break from the slopes.

TUBING

Fancy a bit of fun? A break from skiing or snowboarding?

Then get your hands on one of the snow tubes and go for it! Guests will experience the huge rush and enjoyment of shooting down the slope in a rubber ring. They're safe, reliable easy to use! Just sit down and slide. They can even be hooked together for added fun.

The breathtaking slopes are perfect for snow tubing, you'll really build up speed so hold on tight!
