SSP CHAIRMANS GOLF TOUR

Following the success of the SSP Inaugural Chairman's Golf Tour to Valderrama in 2010, XSEM were then asked to continue and develop the competition format for this year which resulted in over one hundered people competing in regional venues, with the top three competitors winning a place at the Valderrama final.


The Regional Format 

  • Breakfast
  • 9 Hole competition in the morning
  • Lunch
  • 18 Hole competion in the afternoon
  • Evening prize giving with full meal
  • Prizes awarded for 1st and 2nd teams, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place go to Valderrama
  • Goodie bag including Pro V golf balls and branded pouch
  • Halfway house
  • Post meal drinks account

Regional Events

  • The event was designed to cater for 108 golfers in total
  • There was 3 regional events that were held at Coombe Hill, St Georges Hill and Blackwell Golf Club
  • Regional events followed a simple format of breakfast, 9 holes practive session, light lunch, afternoon competition and a post golf 3 course meal
  • The top three from each event plus three staff and David Llywellyn qualified for the final event that was held in Valderrama
  • The final consisted of 12 golfers in total

Regional Venues

The regional events are to be held at the venues that strike a balance between cost, prestige, location and facilities.
