TOP GUN
The thrill of flying amazing aeroplanes with former Red Arrows and RAF combat trained flying instructors is guaranteed to provide an exhilarating, unforgettable experience.
Taking command of either a Bulldog or an Extra300, your guests will be treated to a variety of flying experiences.
THE AERIAL ACTION
All flights are tailored to the individual from gently mild to wildly exciting, so if you are a first time or nervous flyer or the ultimate adrenaline junkie, our aim is to bring you back down to earth with a HUGE smile.
All flights start with an introduction on the effects of controls and how to fly the aeroplane, and then moves onto the especially exciting part.....
Aerobatics includes instruction on how to fly aerobatic manoeuvres (loops, rolls, stall turns) with guests being encouraged to try this for themselves. Experiences thrill seekers can take things to the max with some extreme aerobatics.
Top Gun: can you shoot the bandit? Flying in pairs, the objective is to tailchase around the skies, get the enemy in your sights, press the trigger and shout "GUNS GUNS GUNS" into the mike; a direct hit will result in a satisfying smoke trail pouring from the lead aircraft to confirm the kill. Then it's time to swap leads and see if you can evade those guns.
Helicopter Flying Lesson: Guests will take to the skies for a helicopter lesson which will include a "hovering" session.
Ultimate High Air-Racing: this offers you the opportunity to participate in an air race, competing against the clock and other contestants with little or no flying experience!
After a thorough briefing and practise flight in the morning, you will prepare yourself for the big race. Dive down to low levels at speeds in excess of 200mph and storm across the start. You will need to pass through a series of simulated gates at high speed, in "knife-edge" flight!
No matter what your previous experience, you will fly the aeroplane, with an experiencedaerobatic ex-military instructor in the aeroplane with you. How much "G-force" can you stand?!
