Following the success of the 2008 Cricket Legends Trophy, XSEM are delighted to reveal that the 2009 tournament will be held on Thursday 2nd July 2009. Once again XSEM have recruited some of the biggest names from international cricket to give clients a once in a lifetime opportunity to pit their wits against some of the game's greats. The chance to play with and against cricket's past masters will provide an experience that will be remembered for years to come. Who will forget the day they dismissed the legendary Mike Gatting or the day they smashed Gladstone Small for four?
FORMAT
Entry is limited to 10 teams - each of which will comprise 5 of your chosen guests plus an ex Test Cricketer (given the number of matches we would recommend each team bring along a squad of 8 players). Each team will play 4 group games of 5 overs per side. The two group winners will meet in the final. Every player (except the wicket keeper) bowls an over; batters must retire upon reaching 25.
